WeCP

Disclaimer – I use WeCP and love it, so this may be a little biased!

WeCP is one of the best Assessment platforms I’ve used.  It offers AI-built, role-specific assessments and live code‑pair interviews, all delivered seamlessly in-browser.
You can instantly spin up a custom coding challenge or a scenario that truly reflects what a candidate will do day‑to‑day, and know it hasn’t already been published on Glassdoor or Blind!  With data‑driven scoring and proctoring to catch AI‑assisted cheating (check out their other cheat-busting tool, Sherlock, if you prefer to interview in Zoom/Google/Teams etc.! 👀), hiring teams can spot and trust real-world skills fast, fair, and bias‑aware!

WeCP (short for “We Create Problems”) launched in 2016 and has a dual HQ footprint between Austin, TX, and Bengaluru, India, with additional presence in London. With a lean team of over 50 employees, they built a versatile SaaS platform used by Fortune 500 clients like Microsoft, Adobe, Tesla, Deloitte, Bosch, Infosys,  Bootstrapped so far, WeCP’s target customers span tech-heavy recruiters, startups, and enterprise HR teams seeking a more innovative, more authentic way to assess candidates.

Pros:

  • Role-specific, AI-generated assessments and test cases that reflect real job tasks

  • In-browser coding tests plus live code-pair interviews—complete interviewing workflow in one platform

  • “Sherlock” anti-cheat AI ensures candidate integrity during remote interviews

  • Trusted by leading global companies across tech, consulting, and manufacturing

Cons:

  • Primarily focused on technical roles—I’ve used it for non-tech and it was still great (especially for testing language and comms skills), but it does seem more suited to tech assessments IMO.

  • Assessment richness depends on careful setup by TA team; it is not fully plug‑and‑play
